“ This was a memorable evening. We have been dinning in so many restaurants in Birmingham, just thought go out side of Birmingham. I am glad we travelled to Derby, Sunar Gow restaurant. The food was generous portions, mocktails made by waiter Mr Gulli (blue lagoon) and strawberry moctail by Faisol was mind blowing. Very classy place, staff was friendly and the owner Haz gave us a lovely warm greeting. Loved the starter chicken 65, my King Prawn Kada, my son ate king prawn first time and he loved it. A-Z was 5 star service. Definitely will go again, highly recommended ”

All staff were hands on and the level of service was exceptional, from start to finish. A really lovely place with a lovely welcoming enviroment. And decorated lovely and tastefully. “ We popped in here on the off chance tonight and it did not disappoint. We knew they didn’t serve alcohol so we took a few of our own bottles of beer for which they provided glasses and an ice bucket. The decor was stunning, very modern and exceptionally clean. Very welcoming atmosphere right from the start. Service was brilliant the staff were so friendly and very accommodating. They ensured our pickle tray was always full and took away our empty beer bottles promptly. The food.... Wow! We had poppadoms, onion bhaji, chicken 65 (this was incredible), chicken tikka masala for sharing, pilau rice, chips and a nann bread. Everything was perfect, so delicious. They taste was spot on, just the right amount of spice to the dishes and they were presented beautifully. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will absolutely be going back and telling all of our friends about it. If you went a delicious Indian in a fantastic atmosphere this is the place for you! ”
